The "OmicsLab" research group was established by Dr. Wenliang Zhang in August 2020. We focus on developing and applying advanced artificial intelligence-based computational methods and tools to deeply analyze multi-omics data. By integrating in vitro and in vivo experiments as well as clinical sample validation, we systematically investigate the pathogenic mechanisms of non-coding RNAs and their encoded microproteins in the development and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma, as well as their clinical significance. Our research is supported by multiple funding sources, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the High-Level University Program of Guangzhou Medical University.
Our group adheres to a training philosophy that combines theory with practice, placing equal emphasis on cutting-edge academic research and the translation of scientific findings into practical applications. We foster a collaborative and vibrant academic environment. We are currently seeking postdoctoral researchers and graduate students in computational biology, bioinformatics, and computer science. If you are interested, please send your CV to zhangwl25@alumni.sysu.edu.cn. .
Congratulations ! Our paper is published on Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research (IF 12.8)!
